Since then, she has released a staggering 33 singles (with videos!) from 7 wildly successful albums, but what about the tracks that weren’t released as singles?

Everybody knows the classics like I’m a Slave 4 U, Oops!...I Did It Again and Toxic, but we want to celebrate the hidden musical gems from her various albums.

So, we’re counting down the Top 10 Unreleased Britney Spears Songs of all time.

The Top 10 Unreleased Britney Spears Songs Of All Time

#10.
Song: I Run Away

Album: Britney (2001)
Britney doesn’t do ballads very often, but one thing she does do is her power slow-tempo songs. One of her very best was a bonus track on her third album called I Run Away which is about desperately missing a lover but needing to “run away”. Her voice is powerful and clear, and you really seem to connect with her journey during this song.

#9.
Song: Early Morning

Album: In The Zone (2003)
By the time Moby wrote Britney Spears the song ‘Early Mornin’ in 2003 for her In The Zone album, she was literally and figuratively in her zone. This song is pure sexuality. She sings about partying, feeling it the next day, hooking up with sexy guys and “bump bumping” until the “break of dawn”. This was Britney in her absolute, unquestionable prime.

#8.
Song: What U See (Is What U Get)

Album: Oops!...I Did It Again (2000)
By the time Britney released her sophomore album, Oops, she was ready to be take control of her sound, look and image. In this sexy track she purrs about getting exactly what you see with her, and nothing else. Lyrics include “but now you think I’m wearing too much makeup, and my dress is too tight”. This was a powerful, defiant Britney who knew she was becoming a massive popstar, and didn’t care what people had to say. Take her for what she was. What you see, is what you get with Britney.

#7.
Song: I Will Be There

Album: ...Baby One More Time (1999)
This song, written by the team behind most of her biggest hits appeared on her debut album in 1999. It’s a poppy track about “always being there” for her guy no matter what, and it’s as sweet as candy! Original Britney is fun, silly Britney. And we love it.

#6.
Song: Touch Of My Hand

Album: In The Zone (2003)
Did you know Britney has a song about masturbation? It’s a haunting track about being alone on tour and not having her guy with her so she takes things into her own hands… Literally. On this sexually liberating track Britney sings “I love myself its not a sin, I cant control what's happenin, Cuz I jus discovered, Imagination's taken over, Another day without a lover, The more I come to understand the touch of my hand”. This was Britney declaring to the world “I’m not the little girl you all knew and love”, this was the new “Britney”. A woman who was sure of herself and her sexiness, which seemed to ooze out of her pores.

#5.
Song: Don’t Go Knockin' On My Door

Album: Oops!...I Did It Again (2000)
When Britney Spears released her 2000 album Oops!...I Did It Again fans and critics alike were blown away by how “grown up” Britney seemed. This track perfectly sums it up. She was no longer singing about being “lonely” and needing that perfect guy, now she was telling him to get out of her face! This was sexy, confident, angry Britney. And we couldn’t get enough.

#4.
Song: What It’s Like To Be Me

Album: Britney (2001)
Remember that time Britney Spears and then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake did a duet about how life can be hard for worldwide popstars? No? Well, it was the last track on her third studio album simply called Britney, and is one of the rawest and sexiest songs she’s ever done. “Walk a mile in my shoes, do me right or I’m through!”.

#3.
Song: Breathe On Me

Album: In The Zone (2003)
According to reports, Britney was scheduled to release this song as the last single from her In The Zone album, but after hurting her knee during the filming of the Outrageous video, all remaining singles were scrapped. This is one of the best Britney Spears songs of all time, and truly would have been a massive hit for her. She purrs and moans about wanting her dude to “breathe on me” and features a spoken monologue inspired by Marilyn Monroe where she says ”Monogamy is the way to go, just put your lips together, and blow”. Don’t miss this one, it’s Britney at her best.

#2.
Song: Unusual You

Album: Circus (2008)
It was in 2009 when fans were begging Britney Spears’ management to release Unusual You as the last single from the Circus album. For some reason they decided to use a track from her PREVIOUS album, Blackout, which was also a bonus track on Circus. Such a waste. Unusual You is a haunting mid-tempo song about someone being so “perfect” that it’s almost unusual. They must be an “angel”, Britney purrs. Fans were devastated when she didn’t perform the song live, on her Circus Tour causing wonder that maybe there was something a little too personal with this song for her.

Now, in my opinion, the Best Unreleased Britney Spears song of all time?

#1.
Song: Toy Soldier

Album: Blackout (2007)
Many fans argue that Britney’s 2007 album for Blackout was “without question” her very best. It was dark, sexy, unapologetic, and catchy. The standout track on the record, for me at least, was Toy Soldier. The thumping club song is all about needing a “real” man and not a pathetic “toy soldier”. Many fans assumed the track was written about ex-husband Kevin Federline and that without a doubt it would be released as a single. It never happened. This is one of Britney spears’ best songs of her entire career. Do NOT miss it.

ส่วนตัวชอบ breathe on me อะ เสียงอิบริท + ความหมายเพลงแรดเว่อร์ๆ
