หญิงสาว(ใหญ่) ดูมีอายุ กับสไตล์แต่งตัวสุดเปรี้ยวคนนี้ คืออาจารย์ Lyn Slater  จาก มหาวิทยาลัยฟอร์ดแฮม ในอเมริกา ที่มีอายุได้ 63 ปี แล้ว ซึ่งนอกจากอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัย เธอยังเป็น Fashion Blogger อีกด้วย

ซึ่งเธอเริ่มต้นการเป็นบล็อคเกอร์จากความบังเอิญกลายมาเป็นไอค่อน หลังจากที่เธอไปพบกับเพื่อนหลังงานแฟชั่นโชว์ที่หนึ่ง และมีช่างภาพมารุมถ่ายเธอ "ตั้งแต่ตอนนั้นที่ช่างภาพมารายล้อมฉัน เพื่อจะถ่ายรูปฉัน ฉันก็พบว่าฉันคือแฟชั่นไอค่อนคนหนึ่ง มันเป็นความบังเอิญจริงๆ" เธอกล่าว

จากนั้นที่เธอได้กล่าวถึงทัศนคติของเธอในการแต่งตัวว่า "เรื่องอายุไม่ใช่ปัจจัยในการเลือกชุดของฉันเลย" เธอให้สัมภาษณ์กับ The Huffington Post "ฉันว่ามันค่อนข้างสวยงามนะ ที่แฟชั่นจะไม่มีขอบเขตของมัน"
