The Government of the United Kingdom has announced the new 'Graduate' route which will be open to all international students, who have valid UK immigration status as a student and have successfully completed a course of study in any subject at undergraduate level or above at an Approved UK Higher Education Provider. The visa will allow eligible students to work, or look for work, in any career or position of their choice, for two years after completing their studies.

In press release made by Home Office Secretary Priti Patel, this route was announced and expected to be practical by end of 2020 or early 2021. This route is part of Immigration changes announced by UK government to deal with the after effects of Brexit. The new routes will be open for potential applicants step by step in this year or upcoming.

This visa will be for those students who have valid Tier 4 General Student Visa and have completed their Undergraduate or post graduate studies in the United Kingdom. However, the students already completed their graduations, or already have been enrolled in any UK Higher Education Provider, those students will be automatically ineligible for this visa category.

The fees for this visa category has not been revealed yet however it will be closed to Tier 4 General Visa application. Besides of it, the applicants will have to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge according to their durations.
