New Year is one of the most celebrated days in the world. It's the most beautiful time of the year. Each culture celebrates this holiday in its own unique way.
In Thailand, the first day of the first month in every year it is a new year’s day. I am so energized when it got nearer to me. In all schools was closed for a short time about 3 to 5 days, so that a student spent a lot of time with family or relax on holiday.
In the last day of the year, normally I saw the most everyone packed and got back to hometown but I am not because it was a very traffic jam. I spent a whole day with my parents and sister, on the day we went to the temple to do good things like to pray respect to Buddha or to donate to charity.
After then we decorated our home with lights in a variety of different colors hanging all over my home. At night we had a little party and we exchanged new year presents, had a dinner with a special menu from my mother.
A lot of time that I spent with my family it was memorable. New Year is a special time that had a one day only. I love New Year’s Day.
