Aston University ตั้งอยู่ใจกลางเมืองเบอร์มิงแฮม ประเทศอังกฤษ ก่อตั้งในปี 1895 ในนามของ Birmingham Municipal Technical School จนเมื่อวันที่ 22 เม.ย 1966 ได้เปลี่ยนมาเป็น Aston University จนถึงปัจจุบัน เป็นสถาบันที่เด่นในด้านสาขาธุรกิจและการค้า ปรัชญาของสถาบันคือ Forward ปัจจุบันมีนักศึกษารวมประมาณ 9,600 คน ได้รับการจัดอันดับจาก Sunday Times University Guide ปี 2008-9 ให้อยู่ในอันดับที่ 9 จาก 120 สถาบันที่ดีที่สุดของอังกฤษ
